It’s “A New Day” for Dion (I can keep going with these puns), because she just announced her first-ever beauty partnership as a global spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris. Although the 51-year-old singer said that it was a “miracle” the brand reached out to her, we think otherwise: she’s established herself as a fashion and beauty kween over the past few years (hello, Met Gala? Her Paris Fashion Week aesthetic?), so an iconic woman plus an iconic brand obviously just seems like the right move.

“I’m at a stage in my life where I’m excited to use my voice to empower others to feel beautiful, confident, and to learn to embrace themselves,” Dion said in a press release. Dion is the latest woman to show that beauty is ageless: Helen Mirren has partnered with L’Oréal Paris since 2015, and 70-year-old Maye Musk has been a CoverGirl since 2017.
These women just prove the age-old L’Oréal motto: no matter what age you are, show yourself some love—because you’re worth it.
