Los Angeles is getting a little bit more chic this Fall, thanks to Dover Street Market. The opening of the new West Coast location was announced over a year ago, but details have been few and far between since then.
The new location is set to open sometime this Fall, although there’s no word on exactly when the brand will set up shop. Dover Street Market has created a new web page, dedicated Instagram account, and newsletter for the new LA location. Shoppers can use these to find updates about the new store in the coming months.
This is the brand’s second retail store in the U.S. The first location was built in the Kip’s Bay neighborhood in New York City. Japanese fashion legend Rei Kawakubo and husband Adrian Joffe both started Dover Street Market in London in 2004. Since then, the brand has expanded globally with stores in Beijing, Singapore, and Ginza,Tokyo.
The LA store will be the brand’s sixth store once it opens later this fall.
