There’s little question that Riccardo Tisci is a genius, but he may have outdone himself with his debut line of bags for Burberry.
Considering Tisci’s well-documented talent for accessories (his work at Givenchy made bags one of the most sought-after arms of the brand), it should come as no surprise that he knocked it out of the park for his first run with the seminal British brand. Each bag is closed with a gold TB clasp after Thomas Burberry, and range from staples to patent leather cross-body satchels to birth the star of the collection: the tan belt bag.
Recalling Chanel’s early exploration of fanny packs, Tisci has attached a small leather wallet to an industrial belt, which would be the ideal—and very practical—addition to a party dress or over a coat for easy access during the colder months. Unisex and objectively practical, this little number could take you from the streets of Paris to the desert of Coachella Valley.
