Uh Huh, “Grease” is Making a Comeback

Tell me about it, stud. In honor of Grease’s 40th anniversary, Simon Miller and Paramount Pictures have come together to bring fans of the movie a capsule collection for the ages. The 12-piece women’s line highlights the impact the film has had on “LA” style and “hot rod” culture.

Simon Miller re-interpreted classic “Grease” staples with a modern bent,  including graphic T-shirts that use imagery from Paramount’s archive, and a custom lightning bolt print seen on the brand’s best-selling “Bonsai” bag.

“As a kid, I was completely obsessed with the characters and the culture of ‘Grease,'” Chelsea Hansford, co-creative director of Simon Miller, said in a statement. “It was a movie that inspired me with the soundtrack, the fashion, and the California teenage life. I must have watched it 30 times in a row with my sister.”
