There are two things we all associate with Hermès: the iconic Birkin bag, and the ludicrous price tag that comes along with it (and most products from the brand). But, could it be that Hermès is giving us the opportunity to buy something from them without having to refinance our houses? The dream of having one of their signature products without going fully broke may become a reality, because Hermès just announced their latest venture: beauty.
Business of Fashion reported on March 21 that the luxury label officially announced their upcoming ranges of cosmetics and skincare, with both set to launch sometime in 2020. While no details on their debut products have been released yet, we’re already pining for the moment we can get our hand on a H-embezzled lipstick to match our (imaginary) Birkins and scarves.
As for the price point, it’s also being kept under wraps, but it is being toted as a luxury cosmetics and skincare line. So, while we couldn’t imagine a facial cleanser or foundation from any brand to reach the hefty price of their staple tote, be prepared to drop a few pretty pennies on their upcoming beauty collection.
