She also opened the Chanel SS18 ready-to-wear show, and the model has become a favorite of Lagerfeld’s. The collection blends Gerber’s LA vibe with Lagerfeld’s classic Parisian aesthetic, and it’s a mostly monochromatic collection.
Lagerfeld announced the collection on his Instagram account with the hashtag “#KARLXKAIA” and it will be available on Karl.com for two weeks before debuting on other shopping sites.
The collection will feature versatile, closet-essential pieces mixed with trendier items. Logo-printed leather jackets, wetsuit-inspired bodysuits, logo hoodies, velvet bags, chained hats, and over-the-knee socks comprise some of the capsule.
