Kim Kardashian’s Nanny Reveals What It Was Like to Work for Kris Jenner

Pam Behan, a former nanny to the Kardashian family for five years in the ‘90s, talked about what it was like to work for Kris Jenner on a Kim Kardashian episode of Scandal Made Me Famous.

Behan took care of Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob during the ‘90s, before they were the reality stars they are today. People reports that she would drive them to school and extracurricular activities in Los Angeles and that she was there for many Kardashian milestones, from the O.J. Simpson white Bronco chase to Kim’s first date. She says that she still loves the Kardashians, but also says that Kris Jenner could be a sometimes demanding, particular boss.

“I liked Kris and I respected her for many reasons,” Behan said in a preview for the show. “She was not easy to work for because she was a perfectionist and she expected perfection.”

She continued on to say, “On a daily basis, when she has a very long list and you’re fighting L.A. traffic and taking kids to their events, and maybe possibly not everything on the list gets done,” she said. “There were a few moments where I got an earful.”

As a young person in her early 20s, working for Jenner was a learning experience for Behan. “At first, I used to be just crushed when she would speak to me like that,” she says. “But she vents, she speaks what’s on her mind. She wasn’t easy to work for, but I did enjoy my job.”

Even then, Kris Jenner was focused on the success of her children — and making sure they became famous. Considering the enormous empire Jenner is now the matriarch of, it comes as little surprise that plan was in the works for a long time coming. The Kim Kardashian episode of Scandal Made Me Famous will premiere Saturday, July 21, at 9 p.m. ET on Reelz.
