Summer in New York City is unlike summer pretty much anywhere else in America, and that’s a fact. There are about a million and one things to do in the Big Apple: spend a day at one of the city’s many beaches, dine al fresco, go to your local park and people (or dog) watch, check out a biergarten, see the new Whitney exhibit, drink an iced coffee, eat an ice cream cone, shop around for that perfect beret, or a combination of all of these things.
Checking everything off your list in the short span of one day is a big to do, but shopping, eating, and caffeinating is about to get a little bit easier thanks to French fashion brand Maison Kitsuné and the innovative coffee roaster and pioneer of the “Draft Latte,” La Colombe. The two brands have joined forces to satisfy all of the hungry NYC shoppers in need of a little caffeine buzz.
La Colombe is working with Maison Kitsuné’s SoHo flagship store to bring shoppers the lower Manhattan rendition of Café Kitsuné. At the café, people will find free coffee-flavored ice cream treats, during June 1-2 only, in celebration of their new summer collection.
The collection is a minimalist dream. The cursive Cafe Kitsuné branded products are all in simple, clean colorways like taupe and white and black. They all feature a range of products, like t-shirts, crew neck sweatshirts, hats, totes, coffee tumblers you’ll want to actually use, coffee beans, and more. The full collection ranges between $10 and $165.
If you’re in the area, stop by Cafe Kitsuné, located at 248 Lafayette Street to check out the brand’s latest wares and cool off with a gratis coffee cone.
