Leeanna Williams, known as @guvmanian on Instagram, might live in the suburbs of Mojave, California, but that hasn’t stopped her from wielding major style influence. But just how did she land on her signature look? The answer: Thrift stores, and an IDGAF attitude.
Where do you live?
Leanna Williams: “I actually live in Mojave! It’s the desert, so it’s pretty drab and un-fun, but I will admit that the scenery here is magnificent for photoshoots!”
Where are your favorite places to shop?
LW: “I really don’t shop much anymore, but when I do, I go straight to my favorite thrift store. It’s a chain thrift (American Way), but I always find something when I go.”
What brands are you loving right now?
LW: “I’ve been super into Eytys, Gucci, No Sesso, Knorts, and Golfwang lately. I love everything about them, from the editorials and visuals to the actual merchandise.”
What are your go-to outfit essentials?
LW: “A pair of cowboy-esque boots, boot-cut or flared pants, ruffled/textured tops, and rhinestone hair clips.”
Tell us your style philosophy.
LW: “Wear whatever you want to wear, despite opinions other people may have. I feel like fashion is such a huge outlet for anyone’s personality and it should be unique to every individual.”
