Pia Arrobio Doesn’t Play It Cool

To make it in fashion is a dicey proposition — a lot of talent, a lot of hard work, and, course, a healthy sprinkle of luck are all necessary ingredients. Pia Arrobio, head designer and founder of LPA, a label that looks made for ’70s bombshells, makes it seem (almost) easy — except that she’s very open about the time she’s put in and the cut-throat business she’s broken into. Her designs are effortlessly chic, empowering and sexy, all rolled into one convenient parcel with witty captions on the tags. The former Reformation designer discusses family, her famous squad, and how being positive and changing her attitude helped her to succeed in the fashion industry.
