Miley Cyrus Just Launched the Dreamiest Converse Collaboration

Miley Cyrus’ collaboration with Converse is…the most Miley aka a glitter bomb of spectacular platformness. The Converse x Miley Cyrus collection launched Wednesday morning, and it features a range of clothing and shoes for the sparkle (and height!) fiends among us.

“Converse has no boundaries. It’s outspoken. I’ve always identified with Converse because the brand appeals to and represents so many different cultures and walks of life. And they’re accessible,” Cyrus said in a release from the brand.

The campaign was shot by Ellen Von Unwerth, also the famed photographer who shot Cyrus’ controversial Vanity Fair campaign in 2008, a photo shoot that Cyrus has since retracted her previous apology about. A few days ago, she tweeted out on the 10th anniversary of the shoot that she’s “NOT SORRY” and explained why in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

“I guess it was apparently 10 years ago and I think a lot of things have changed and I think the conversation has changed a lot” Cyrus said on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “And I think something that I really thought about was, you know, sure people thought that I did something wrong in their eyes. But I think it was really wrong of someone to put on top of someone that this is my shame and I should be ashamed of myself. That’s not a nice thing to tell someone that they should be ashamed of themselves. Besides Donald Trump.”

The Converse x Miley Cyrus collection campaign features Cyrus with some of her biggest fans, all rolling around in glitter. You can shop the collection on Converse.com and on Nordstrom’s site. Pieces include a tracksuit, biker shorts, tees and sneakers — all for $100 and under.

“I want to empower everyone to be exactly who they want to be every single day…Remember to have fun. Don’t take yourself too seriously all the time.” Cyrus said.
