Selena Gomez Proves The Pajama Trend Is Alive And Well

Just when you thought the pajamas-as-streetwear trend may have died a fateful death following its peak (read: oversaturation) last year, Selena Gomez has singlehandedly revived it.

For the accompanying visual to her new song “I Can’t Get Enough” with chart sensations Benny Blanco, J Balvin, and Tainy, Gomez dons a pair of baby pink satin PJs with black piping—the kind of luxury nightwear one could only dream of. With it, she follows her own (and many other celebrities’) footsteps in making a case for pajamas outside the bedroom. Last year, Gomez was photographed in a navy satin button-up set, as was Kate Moss, Zendaya, and Victoria Beckham.

Gomez is also no stranger to keeping it a little casual in her creative outputs. The “Hands to Myself” video saw her vacillate between lingerie, a neglige, and a dress shirt, and the “Good For You” styling mostly saw her in an oversized tee. In the Petra Collins-directed “Fetish,” she wore a simple yellow vintage nightie.

Check out the video below, and consider trying some glamorous PJs of your own—or simply paring down for your next event.
