They were never officially broken up, though Richie had reportedly dumped Disick. Days later, she took him back, much to the chagrin of Richie’s father Lionel. When the two started dating, the singer told a reporter at the American Idol auditions in New York, “Have I been in shock?! I’m the dad, come on. I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?”
After the model broke up with known man-baby Disick, a source told E!, “Lionel and her family encouraged the split and are very upset and disappointed that she decided to get back with him.”
Sofia Richie even joined Disick and his three children for a Father’s Day lunch at Nobu Malibu.
“Scott begged for her back and wanted to make things right with her,” a source told E! “He felt bad that he had a drunken episode and made many promises to Sofia that he could make it right. Scott is very good at convincing that he ‘has changed’ or ‘will change’ and Sofia does love him. She believes in him.”
