Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on their first solo trip together visiting Ireland. And while the trip has been mostly business, meeting with state officials and presidents, the Duchess of Sussex has thankfully been serving plenty of looks along the way for us to talk about.
She’s stayed true to her love of sleek silhouettes with favorites like Roland Mouret and Theory back in the rotation, while inserting new brands like Emilia Wickstead and more fashion like Dior. Though none of these looks are as bright as that gorgeous Brandon Maxwell we still can’t get over, she’s definitely turning into quite the style icon.

Boatneck Dress
Megan loves a boatneck dress but can you blame her? The flattering neckline made popular by Coco Chanel in the 1930s has become a staple long before she made it trendy again. The Duchess of Sussex wore the style on her wedding day in her custom Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown, a few days ago in an olive green Ralph Lauren dress for Prince Louis’ royal christening, and now in Dior. When you find something that works—stick with it.
Belted Dress
I was ecstatic when I saw this look because it’s not very often that the Duchess of Sussex gets to accentuate any body part in fear of looking too sexy. This dress is sophisticated, and has just enough sex appeal with the square neckline to show a little cleavage and belt accent.
Suits Sheaths
Markle frequently wore Roland Mouret dresses on her show Suits and still looks good in them off camera as well. Mouret’s specialty is creating dresses with classic silhouettes into modern masterpieces with pleats, folds and ruffles that frame the body.
Suiting
It’s refreshing to see that her take on suiting isn’t so stuffy–her take on suiting feels fresh, with a slightly over-sized blazer contrasted with sleek tailored pants.
