Celebrating the thrill of being 21, the collection is themed accordingly with a 21-pan eyeshadow palette called Sipping Pretty and a six-piece matte neon lipstick vault in all Kylie-themed packaging, of course. The names are appropriately festive: Glam, Birthday Behavior, Flirtini, Rumor, Rager, and August. And what would a 21st birthday celebration be without a red Solo cup?
A Solo cup-inspired lipstick and lip gloss trio features shades of brilliant red named The After Party, Shots, and Victoria. There are also, of course, three lip kits named Tipsy, Twenty One, and Baddie. Last but not least for lips, a six-piece miniature lipstick vault is all about bossing up, with shades of orange-red and fuschia named Boss, Victoria, Rad, Say No More, Boy Bye, and Queen.
The packaging is all fireworks and cupcakes and champagne showers (there’s also a highlighter aptly named champagne showers) and a birthday cupcake with “Get Lit” spelled in candles. In an Instagram video, Kylie Jenner says, “My birthday collections are super special to me because the first collection I ever did was for my 19th birthday…My birthdays are what set off [makeup] collections for me.”
The almost-21-year-old new mom and near-billionaire is making us all feel 21 again.
