Meghan Markle Finally Wore Yellow—And You Should Too

Meghan Markle has pretty much worn all neutrals since the day of her wedding. And though I’m not surprised, it’s a bit boring sartorially to never see the style maven in any colors when she’s forced to wear nude hosiery most days. Let’s face it–her style has been a bit underwhelming and preppy but totally expected because of her position in the royal family.

But over the weekend while making an appearance at the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Youth Leadership Workshop, The Duchess of Sussex showed up in a sleeveless yellow Brandon Maxwell sheath that was chic, youthful and the most vibrant thing she has worn in weeks! Though her shift dress that retails for $1495 by Maxwell is no longer in stock, the sheath dress silhouette is one everyone should have. It’s a simple, appropriately cut dress that shows the figure without being too form fitting for more formal events, interviews, and weddings, and it’s universally flattering. In bright yellow it’s a stunning choice that we’re still swooning over.
