Summer brought us a plethora of nail trends (cc: mismatched nails via Harry Styles, jelly nails, and claws to make you look like a literal snack). But, as the sun is setting on the warmer months, it’s time to bid adieu to “hot girl summer” and start prepping for the fall season — well, at least with our nails. Below, check out some of the biggest nail art trends for this fall:
Tiger Print
We’ve all seen cheetah print, but now it’s time for a new feline-inspired design to take over our talons. It’s a great switch-up after all of the cheetah prints we’ve seen this summer (yes, we’re talking about that midi skirt), plus it’s much easier to create at home.
Create the look with:
Pearls
Pearls have popped up everywhere: bags, hair accessories, earrings, and many more. So, it only makes sense to match your nails with the trending embellishment. Use a clear polish to make your pearls stand out, or give the look your own spin with your favorite polish color.

The French 2.0
The French tip is always a classic, but why not spice it up with some color? The go-to nail deisgn of yesteryear has been spotted on quite a few familiar hands (like both Bella and Gigi Hadid), but with quite the modern upgrade.
Create the look with:
Drip Nails
This trend may have had its moment back in the early 2010’s, but it was brought back to life by none other than beauty mogul Kylie Jenner. It’s a look that even shorter nails can easily try.
Create the look with:
Bare Nails
Ready to “bare” it all? If your nails need to rest from a long bout of acrylics and gel polishes, then this look is exactly what you need during the transitional months. Simply put a quick coat of clear polish, or elevate the look with some subtle gems and decals.
