If you, too, spend a large part of you free time scanning through Instagram, then chances are you may have stumbled upon Overose candles. The candles come in a signature matte millennial pink, and in a number of scents that have become indie beauty favorites since they launched in 2016. Now, the brand has introduced a rainbow holographic version of the cult classic candle with The Coveteur, just in time for Pride.
The Coveteur dedicated a poem to Overose on its website when the candles launched last week.
“The crafted iridescent jars are so pretty you’ll collect them like art,
You’ll be so addicted to the scent, we doubt you’ll ever part.
In just one sniff you’ll be transported to the beach,
Coconut in hand, on a private island, trust us, it’s not a reach!,” the post describes the vanilla and Cedarwood infused candle.
I first stumbled upon Overose last December when I was doing my holiday shopping. The millennial pink label instantly caught my attention when I came across it. The block face font, which reminds me of one of my favorite fragrance brands Byredo, was clearly a marker of good taste and ultimately sealed the deal for me.
The rainbow iridescent candle is the natural next step in the brand’s evolution. Since it began in 2016, the the luxury French perfume house has become a cult beauty favorite. Bound to become a classic, the holographic and pink candles are available on the brand’s site now.
