Meghan Markle wore a blazer from her BFF Serena William’s clothing line, and the tennis champion had a sweet reaction.
It was on the second day of the Duchess and Duke of Sussex’s royal tour in Australia that Markle wore the oversized plaid blazer from Williams’ namesake collection. She sported the blazer while visiting Victoria Park in Dubbo.
She paired it with a classic white oxford shirt from Maison Kitsuné, black jeans by Outland Denim, an Australian company that provides jobs to survivors of sex trafficking, and black heeled boots from J.Crew. It was an outfit at once casual and elegant, a look the Duchess of Sussex wears effortlessly.
Williams shared an Instagram post reacting to Markle wearing her blazer.
“The face you make when you and Duchess of Sussex Meghan have matching @serena blazers ?” she posted in the caption. The eponymous collection also features pieces with words like “royal” and “slay” embroidered on them – perfect for real-life royalty.
Markle and Williams have been good pals since they met at the 2010 Super Bowl, and they’ve been particularly close as they both navigate the ups and downs of celebritydom.
If you want to cop the look for yourself, the blazer is currently available on the brand’s website for $145.
