Nicki Minaj Brings A New Meaning to ‘Shade Queen’ Releasing Some Questionable Merch

And the plot thickens— can we all just kiss and make up? In a perfect world, yes, but regarding the self-proclaimed ‘Queen of Rap’ aka Nicki Minaj, the long-standing feud between her and newcomer Cardi B continues to drag on in these streets. Since their polarized fashion week dispute, the feud has continued to brew coming to a calm simmer over the last two weeks. The duo may be at their boiling point (if throwing a side of Dolce and Gabbana platforms wasn’t enough I don’t know what is).

In a series of events, Cardi B is said to be releasing a song with Minaj’s ex Meek Mill. If there’s one thing I know in girl code, it’s that two things are off limits, children and significant others. Remember when Minaj took it upon herself to question Cardi’s mothering skills which ignited the whole Harper’s Bazaar’s ICONS party brawl…? Well, the Bronx native is returning the favor and coming for the person that knows her ecstasy face (sips tea and stirs three times.) In her rebuttal, Minaj released some shady merchandise last night proclaiming her spot in this petty battle.

The product assortment includes backpacks, shirts, and jackets that say  “Nicki stopped my bag” referencing an Instagram post following the ICONS debacle where Cardi indirectly vocalizes what’s really on and poppin’!  “I’ve let a lot of shit slide! I let you sneak diss me; I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat!…I let you talk big shit about me!!”  In true Nicki Minaj form, she disabled the comment section on her Instagram post unveiling the release of her newest line, most likely in fear of the Cardi Army coming in for retaliation. Talk about petty Betty.
